Thanks to the founders of Helpthisjew.com, i was blessed with the ability to take
control over this amazing website, and help take it to the next level. It is said
that all Jews must look out for one another. The need for help in the Jewish
community, whether Orthodox, Reform, Conservative, and even those not
affiliated is tremendous, and now they have a place to turn to. There is no
greater feeling then going to sleep at night, knowing that you helped someone.
My goal at Help This Jew is to be a tiny light in a dark tunnel.

I helped create Helpthisjew.com to share my feelings of how special it is to be
a Jew. Being part of a big family that will help a brother in need is one of the
feelings I treasure most. My children have gotten involved in the project and it
has made a tremendous impact on their lives as well.
They ask me every day, " Dad, did anyone donate to the cases today?",
and i cant describe the warmth of watching them sit down and reading the
stories and deciding which Jew they want to help. They check their email daily
to see if they received a thank-you letter from a case they helped fund by
donating 4 dollars to it.

I participated in creating Helpthisjew.com for all of the above reasons, and also
because I want my children to know how important it is to help a brother in need.
If everyone looked out for their fellow man, there would be much less pain in the
world.

I became part of Helpthisjew.com for all the reasons mentioned by Yanky and Lipa,
but also because as Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach said "there is no greater thing in the
world than helping a fellow Jew". The Rebbe used to say that it is worth it for a
man to come down to this world and live a whole life of pain and trouble,
if only he has a chance to help a single Jew.
