Gift acceptance policy
Help This Jew is a non-profit organization organised under the laws of the State of New York (hereafter referred to as HTJ). HTJsolicits and encourages the donation of gifts for purposes that will help HTJ to further and fulfill its mission. The following policies and guidelines govern the acceptance of gifts made to HTJ, or for the benefit of any of its programs.
The mission of Help This Jew is to help any and all Jews in financial need. Help This Jew does this by providing a forum (Helpthisjew.com) whereby Jews in need can apply directly to others for help. Through this forum, Help This Jew connects thousands of Jews who need help with those willing to give it. Help This Jew is in the business of setting people up to support themselves independently, and to create and maintain productive and successful lives.
1. HTJ solicits and accepts any gift that are consistent with its mission and that will support its core programs or special projects. At the moment, we are soliciting donations exclusively through Helpthisjew.com (hereafter referred to as the Site) which can only accept financial donations online, through a credit/debit card or by check. If you wish to make a donation through a will or trust, then please contact HTJ at .info@helpthisjew.com
2. Donations and other forms of support will generally be accepted from individuals, partnerships, corporations, foundations, government agencies, or other entities, subject.
